Marigold Will Not Approve

  • Exclusionary or discriminatory experiences
  • Extremely risky activities
  • Illegal or questionably legal activities
  • Large scale experiences
  • Child-centric experiences (we love the kiddos, but we're more focused on experiences for adults at the moment)
  • Experiences that lack expert facilitation or do not promote engagement
  • Virtual Experiences

Experience Listing

Nothing! Listings using Marigold Ticketing are always free.

If you wish to use another service, your first two experience listings are free with your business account. After that, you'll need to buy listing credits to publish more experiences.

Yes, you can edit your listing while it's in draft form and after it's approved and published. Edits cannot be made while the listing is pending review. Please note, email notifications about your edits are sent to attendees only if you're using Marigold Ticketing.

You can cancel an experience after it has been published, however your attendees will only be notified by Marigold if you used Marigold Ticketing. Please note, experiences should only be canceled if absolutely necessary.

Before submitting your experience listing for review, you can save it as a draft and make unlimited edits. Once you submit your draft, it will be reviewed by a Marigold team member, during which time, edits will be disabled.

Yes, you can edit your listing once it has been approved and published.

Ticketing

Yes! When you list your experience with Marigold Ticketing, it's easy to start creating, promoting, and managing your experience listing. A Marigold fee of 3.5% + $1.59 is assessed to each ticket sold. Additionally, a 2.9% credit card processing fee will be applied along with any applicable taxes.

Yes, if you sold your experience through Marigold Ticketing. Canceling your experience will prompt an email which notifies attendees that the experience has been canceled.

You can cancel an experience via your business account dashboard.

Marigold will issue full refunds for any tickets sold on the Marigold Platform. The business is responsible for any and all third-party processing fees and administrative charges. These fees must be reimbursed to Marigold within 15 days for the business to remain in good standing. Only businesses in good standing may post experiences.

Experience Credit

Your credit balance is displayed in the dashboard, along with links to purchase credits.

Purchased credits never expire.

No, once your experience has taken place you cannot edit or re-publish the listing.

Your credits are automatically applied when you submit an experience listing—each credit covers one published experience. Credits are only required if you list without using Marigold's integrated ticketing platform. If you sell tickets through Marigold Ticketing, listing is free and no credits are needed.

Credits are deducted when you submit your experience for approval.

No, if your experience listing is not approved your credit will be returned.

No, creating a draft listing does not deduct a credit.
