Embodied Calm

This experiential workshop from Social Beings blends Dance Movement Therapy and mindfulness practices to support emotional awareness, self-regulation, and embodied presence. Through guided movement, breathwork, and reflective exercises, participants are invited to reconnect with their bodies as a source of insight, expression, and healing. Participants will also get the chance to connect with other through movement.

The workshop emphasizes a non-judgmental awareness of self through movement, encouraging participants to notice sensations, emotions, and patterns as they arise in the body. Simple, accessible movement explorations are combined with mindfulness practices such as grounding, body scanning, and moment-to-moment awareness. No prior dance or movement experience is required.
