In this workshop, we will begin with the focus on learning coping strategies for the holiday season, defining self-compassion for oneself and what this may look like, and practicing a couple relaxation techniques for stress.
The remainder of the workshop you will have the opportunity to complete an art project in which you can choose from either of the two choices below.
1. Create a positive memory collage of a loved one including pet companions
2. A piece of artwork for yourself centered on self-compassion and self-care
Connect with others who also struggle through this “season of joy,” whether through dealing with loss, isolation, loneliness and/or other life hardships and know that you are not alone. Participation in all activities is at your own pace and sharing is optional.
No artistic skills needed. Cost includes all art supplies.
