Discussions & Creative Expression Experiences

We will talk about seasonal factors contributing to stress such as the aftermath of unmet holiday expectations, avoidant triggers, weather limiting time outdoors, reduced daylight, winter fatigue, low energy, etc. We will learn ways to adapt and cope with the seasonal change, including self-compassion practices and how to support others with the winter blues.

What to Expect

  • Purpose—Find connection and respite with like-minded adults and foster a sense of community, reducing the feelings of isolation and stress through restorative experiences.

  • Activities—Engage in creative activities like writing and visual arts, and more to explore and process themes related to seasonal stress and discover new perspectives of hope and perseverance . Sharing with others is optional and not required.

  • Benefits—Gain a sense of agency, self-understanding, and connection both with yourself and others who struggle through the winter months.

  • This experience has passed.
